What aren’t you seeing yet?

November is a time of service, gratitude and giving back, celebrated through the tradition of Thanksgiving.

This year, Relational Coherence is marking the occasion by offering one selected land-connected project a fully sponsored, first-stage Coherence Diagnostic.

An opportunity to recognise, celebrate and support those working to create a regenerative future for the land, the communities who steward it and the enterprises whose livelihoods depend upon it.

Recognising the Living Intelligence of the Land

The land is a living system, with its own intelligence, rhythms and conditions for flourishing.

Across the world, founders, land stewards, innovators and communities are developing solutions that seek to restore, regenerate and enrich the environments in which they operate.

Their work often brings together different interests: the needs of the land, the knowledge of its stewards, the aspirations of communities, the practical requirements of enterprise and the expectations of investors.

Each may have its own purpose, priorities and timescales.

Yet the success of the whole depends upon how these elements relate to one another.

A solution may be technically sound, commercially promising and supported by capable people, while something within the underlying relationships and conditions remains unseen.

What if greater clarity about those relationships could change what becomes possible?

The Thanksgiving Award 2026

The inaugural Thanksgiving Award recognises a project with the potential to make a meaningful contribution to the flourishing of land, communities and enterprise.

One selected project will receive a fully sponsored, first-stage Relational Coherence Diagnostic, tailored to its particular circumstances.

The diagnostic examines the underlying relationships, dependencies and conditions influencing the project’s ability to progress.

It may illuminate previously unseen constraints, competing priorities, structural misalignments or opportunities to strengthen the conditions for success.

The intention is to provide independent clarity that can inform decisions, strengthen collaboration and help the project realise more of its potential.

The diagnostic will be completed within an agreed scope. Any further work is entirely optional, with no obligation to purchase additional services.

For larger or more complex projects

The award is equally open to larger ventures and multi-party ecosystems. In these cases, the first-stage diagnostic will focus on an agreed area of the project where greater relational clarity could be particularly valuable. Any subsequent or more extensive assessment may be commissioned separately, entirely at the recipient’s discretion.

Who Is the Thanksgiving Award 2026 For?

We welcome applications from around the world, including founders, land stewards, regenerative enterprises, community initiatives and collaborations working with the living environment.

Your project might involve regenerative agriculture, land restoration, circular economies, environmental innovation or another venture connecting the wellbeing of land, people and enterprise.

You may be preparing for an important decision, developing a new initiative or working through challenges that are preventing an existing project from progressing as intended.

Projects that recognise the living intelligence of the land and seek to create the conditions in which it, and those connected with it, can thrive are especially welcomed.

Your project should be clearly defined and ready to engage in the diagnostic process.

How Will the Recipient Be Selected?

Applications will be considered according to:

  • The project’s potential contribution to the living environment, communities and enterprise.
  • Relevance and potential value of a Relational Coherence Diagnostic to its current circumstances.
  • Applicant’s readiness and commitment to participate in the process.

The recipient will be selected at the discretion of Josephine Sorciere, founder of Relational Coherence.

The award is open to projects regardless of their current ability to commission a paid diagnostic.

How to Apply for the Thanksgiving Award 2026

We invite you to begin with the Relational Coherence Assessment, a five-minute quiz to explore how you approach complex decisions and what may remain outside your current field of view.

From there, you’ll have access to the introductory presentation, What Aren’t You Seeing Yet?, which explores the relationships and conditions that influence whether projects thrive.

To be considered for the award, complete the Project Inquiry Form and indicate that you wish to enter The Thanksgiving Award 2026.

Applications close 21 November 2026 11:59 am AEDT.

The selected project must be ready to commence its diagnostic by 11 December 2026, with the necessary information and participants available to support completion by 15 February 2027.

The recipient will receive a formal engagement agreement outlining the agreed scope, deliverables, responsibilities and timescales. Acceptance of this agreement and a commitment to provide a testimonial following completion are conditions of the award.

Help Us Find a Project Worth Celebrating

Perhaps you know a founder, land steward, innovator or community enterprise doing remarkable work.

Someone who recognises the potential of the land and is committed to creating a more regenerative future, yet may benefit from greater clarity about the relationships and conditions influencing their progress.

We invite you to share The Thanksgiving Award with them.

Through the relationships we cultivate and the opportunities we create for one another, we can help bring meaningful projects into greater visibility and possibility.

One project. A fresh perspective. The opportunity to see what hasn’t yet been seen.
